Welcome to Arena 44, a fast-paced, minimalist vector shooter where spatial awareness is your only lifeline.

Developed in one week for a game jam, this prototype explores an oppressive, geometric combat loop. The catch? The arena is slowly crushing you, and you are your own worst enemy. Every projectile you shoot will bounce back as a lethal threat. Mindless spamming will only seal your fate faster.

Can you master the angles and survive the claustrophobia?

🔥 Core Features :

• Claustrophobic Gameplay: The arena walls and the UI slowly close in on you over time, but your size remains the same. The longer you survive, the less room you have to breathe.
• You Are the Enemy: Bouncing your shots is mandatory to score points, but those same ricochets become deadly hazards.
• Heavy Game Feel: High-impact combat powered by heavy hit stops, screen shakes, and dynamic chromatic aberration. Every shot feels visceral.
• Vector Aesthetics: Clean, sharp, neon visuals that prioritize readability in the chaos.

🐛 "Undocumented Features" (Known Bugs) :

• Quantum Tunneling: Due to extreme projectile speeds, some balls decide that physics is overrated and fly straight through walls (Yes, like Harry Potter, but without the train).
• The Placebo Effect: The visual effects for the "Heal Combo" reward will always trigger enthusiastically, even if you are at max health. It's a social experiment.
• Rebellious Audio Controls: The volume controls have decided to take an undeserved break. You cannot negotiate with them. The arena will blast its neon geometry at the volume it deems appropriate for your survival.
